Sometimes there is an event in your day that you would just like to forget completely! Today was one of those days! Luckily, things got better as the evening went on and I was able to enjoy the best part of my day while reading to my happy, healthy three year old!
Tonight he picked out

Mr. Duck Means Business, and
The Whistle on the Train. We usually read only three books, but tonight he wanted to read
The Whistle on the Train two times, and it was one of those nights that I just gave in. I probably would have let him go to sleep with kool-aid, a chocolate chip cookie, and his rain boots if he wanted to!
The Whistle on the Train is a pop up book that goes to the song "The Wheels on the Bus", but the words are about a train traveling through town after town! I loved listening to my three year old sing along with me tonight! Reading is sometimes my therapy and I am very thankful for that!
