This Little Piggy

My kids love puppets, so the puppet book This Little Piggy is one that always brings on a lot of smiles!  

My three year old and nine month old had so much fun with this book one afternoon!  My son put it on his hand while I read the book and little baby girl giggled.  This Little Piggy isn't the exact rhyme that I learned when I was little (one pig eats cookies instead of roast beef), but it is easier for my three year old to relate to.  I love watching my three year old and baby girl enjoy things together, I can just see their little brother/sister bond growing everyday!

After reading this book with both kids, my three year old wanted me to recite the rhyme while we were at the pool!  Having those little bare feet and toes to tickle made it even more fun!  Sometimes I forget how little my three year old still is.  He tries so hard to keep up with my six year old each and every day, but now that he is sharing toys and books with his little sister, I see that he still wants to enjoy all of the little things just as much as big boy super heroes and video games!
