Harry Potter Lego Book

I love to see what books my six year old brings home from school!  Last year he started making it a habit to bring one book for his brother and another one or two for himself.  This year has been no different!  It means so much to think that he is thoughtful enough to think of his brother while he is at school!

This week he brought home an Elephant and Piggie book for my three year old and a Harry Potter Lego book for himself.

We have started reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone many times, but he just can't stay interested, so we always go back to chapter books that are a little easier for him.  Even so, he still loves Harry Potter!

We have been reading about all of the different LEGO sets that revolve around Harry Potter in this book.  He loves the photographs of the real LEGO sets and has started to wonder what he could make with his own LEGOs.

Before school one morning, my son woke up and took his book to the dining room table.  He asked my husband and I to help him build some Harry Potter LEGOs.  He is obsessed with the Crypt page, so that is what we focused on.  I guess it is good preparation for Halloween!

I loved that all three boys were sitting around the table creating so early in the morning!
